What the server carries, and what it never will
It carries your data, permission-scoped and live. It does not carry your judgement about the data: which coverage ratio makes a quarter plannable, how deep a discount may go unaccompanied, when a deal has been in a stage too long. Those are decisions — made by you, revisable by you — and a data server is the wrong home for them by design.
