What changes when Brex is read measured

Say you've ratified a runway rule after a bill run once left the operating account uncomfortably close to payroll: no non-overdue bill gets paid outside Friday's scheduled batch if doing so would drop the account below $50,000 before payroll clears.

'Can this bill go out today?' returns, measured: not yet - the bill isn't overdue, and paying its $18,000 now would leave the account at $41,000, under the floor you set for exactly this window before payroll. Brex supplied the bill amount and the account balance; your ratified rule supplied the cash floor, guarding a payroll run you don't want squeezed again.

And back again

Once the account settles into a healthier cash position, you raise the floor to $65,000 to build in more margin. The next bill Brex returns is checked against the new number without you having to restate the rule by hand.
