Think inside your AI world.
ClickUp through Unl
ClickUp holds all your lists. Whether you’ve started more than you can finish is a limit you set — and a full board looks like progress until it isn’t.
ClickUp through Unl reads your live workspace — tasks, lists, spaces, docs — against the work-in-progress limit you have ratified, so overload comes back flagged with how far over the limit you are.
What ClickUp holds
ClickUp’s MCP server exposes the task surface:
- Tasks and their status
- Lists and spaces
- Docs
What the naked read gives you
A naked read returns the tasks in progress. Accurate, and it won’t tell you you’re over your WIP limit, because that limit is a rule you set to protect focus, not a ClickUp constraint.
The frame judges the data it is given; it does not verify the source’s accuracy.
What changes when ClickUp is read measured
Say you've ratified a work-in-progress limit: no more than five tasks in progress at once, because past that nothing actually finishes.
“Am I overloaded?” returns, measured: yes — eight tasks are in progress against your limit of five, which is three over the line you set precisely to keep work finishing rather than piling up. ClickUp supplied the tasks; your ratified limit supplied the verdict and the reason.
And back again
If you raise the limit to seven for a crunch week and record it, the next read measures the board against the limit you now hold.
The answer comes back measured against what you already decided, and why.
The lane is live and open to this tool today: one box, paste anything. If it speaks MCP, Unl can reach it. Readings arrive unprompted, the data beside the criterion; Unl is a courier, not a warehouse, and keeps only your keys and the frame.
Questions people ask
Can AI enforce a WIP limit from my ClickUp board?
Yes, through Unl. You ratify a work-in-progress limit (with your reasoning), and the live board is measured against it — overload is flagged with how far over you are, before it stalls delivery.
How do I connect ClickUp to Claude?
ClickUp offers an MCP server over tasks, lists and docs. Through Unl the same board arrives measured against your ratified limit, so it reads as within-limit or overloaded.
Does Unl change my ClickUp tasks?
Unl reads through ClickUp, and can write back on your explicit gesture — it never acts as a side effect of a read.
What this is
Think inside your AI world — you stay in command
Unlimitless (Unl to friends) holds what you've settled, reads what your tools are showing, and catches what's changed out in the world — and hands your AI whatever bears on the work, the moment it's needed, without you asking. The right thing, in front of the model, unprompted, with you in command of the call. So you keep moving toward what you set out to build, on top of everything you've already decided.
It plugs into Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT and Cursor as an MCP connector. Quick to connect, in a couple of steps.
Unlimitless is open now to invited Alpha. Apply for the Beta waitlist to come in ahead of the full launch:
