Fivetran through Unl

Fivetran's MCP server will tell you exactly when a connector last synced. Whether that timing is fresh enough to close the books on is a threshold you have already set once, the hard way - a connector that is running isn't the same as a connector that is current.

Fivetran through Unl reads connector sync status and last-successful-sync time against the freshness SLA you have ratified, so 'is this connector fresh enough to close on?' comes back go-or-wait with the condition it hasn't met.

What Fivetran holds

Ask Fivetran's MCP server about a connector and it reports:

  • connection status and last successful sync time
  • detailed sync state per connector
  • the full list of connections in the account
  • destination configuration and warehouse targets
  • account-level summary information

What the naked read gives you

Fivetran's MCP server reports a connector's status, its last successful sync time, its current sync state, and the destination it feeds - the same detail you would get clicking through the dashboard, just returned as structured data. It tells you precisely when data last landed without saying whether that timing is good enough for whatever depends on it.

The frame judges the data it is given; it does not verify the source’s accuracy.

What changes when Fivetran is read measured

A data platform lead at a subscription business ratified a close-readiness rule in Unl: no connector counts as reportable for month-end close unless its last successful sync landed within six hours, because a silently broken Stripe connector once let finance close the books on a day of missing refund data.

'Is this connector fresh enough to close on?' returns, measured: no - the connection read shows the Stripe connector's last successful sync was nineteen hours ago, and its current state is broken following an upstream schema change. Fivetran supplied the sync status; your ratified rule supplied the SLA.

And back again

Once the connector resyncs successfully, Fivetran through Unl picks up the new timestamp on its next look; the ratified SLA rule clears the connector for close, and no duplicate page gets spun up.

The answer comes back measured against what you already decided, and why.

The lane is live and open to this tool today: one box, paste anything. If it speaks MCP, Unl can reach it. Readings arrive unprompted, the data beside the criterion; Unl is a courier, not a warehouse, and keeps only your keys and the frame.

Questions people ask

What closes the gap on this connector?

A successful sync landing inside the six-hour window. The same ratified SLA rule reads the fresh sync timestamp and clears the connector for month-end reporting.

How do I connect Fivetran to Claude?

Clone and run Fivetran's official MCP server (fivetran/fivetran-mcp) with your Fivetran API key, then register it in Claude's MCP configuration. Reads work by default; writes need FIVETRAN_ALLOW_WRITES set explicitly.

Does Unl write to my connectors?

No. Unl calls the server's read tools - connection status, sync state, destination details - and leaves write operations disabled unless you have separately opted in. No sync is triggered on your behalf.

What this is

Think inside your AI world — you stay in command

Unlimitless (Unl to friends) holds what you've settled, reads what your tools are showing, and catches what's changed out in the world — and hands your AI whatever bears on the work, the moment it's needed, without you asking. The right thing, in front of the model, unprompted, with you in command of the call. So you keep moving toward what you set out to build, on top of everything you've already decided.

It plugs into Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT and Cursor as an MCP connector. Quick to connect, in a couple of steps.

Unlimitless is open now to invited Alpha. Apply for the Beta waitlist to come in ahead of the full launch:
