What the naked read gives you

Search Front's MCP server for the refund thread and it returns the full timeline: every message, who's assigned, which inbox it landed in, the contact's linked account. List the teammates on that inbox and it hands back the roster, roles included. It's a complete, current picture of the conversation - assignment, content and structure all present, exactly as the shared inbox holds it.

The frame judges the data it is given; it does not verify the source’s accuracy.

What changes when Front is read measured

Say you run the shared-inbox operations team, and you've ratified a handling rule after a customer complains that an assigned thread has sat untouched for days: a conversation only counts as handled if it's assigned to a teammate and carries a substantive reply from that teammate, not an autoresponder, within the SLA window.

'Did the team actually handle the refund request thread?' returns, measured: no - the thread is assigned to a teammate, but the only reply on record is the automatic acknowledgement sent on arrival, so your substantive-reply condition fails. Front supplied the conversation timeline and assignment; your ratified rule supplied the reply-quality test that decides whether 'handled' is true.

Why would an assigned Front conversation still fail the handled check?

Because assignment tells you who owns the thread, not whether they actually answered it. Unl checks for a substantive reply against the rule your team ratified, so an autoresponder-only thread can sit assigned and still come back unhandled.

How do I connect Front to Claude?

Create an OAuth app in your Front developer settings, authorise Front's MCP server with it, then link that connection inside Unl. Claude reads conversations, contacts and accounts through the same authorised access.

Does Unl edit or change my Front conversations?

Unl reads through Front, and can write back on your explicit gesture — it never acts as a side effect of a read.
